2008 - 2010:   Worked in CERN (European Organization For Nuclear Research, Geneva, Switzerland)   and participated  in AMS (Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer) Project conducted by Nobel Laureate Samuel C.C. Ting for 8 years(2003-2010), responsible for control system of AMS Cryogenic Ground Support Equipment (CGSE).

 

2000,2001,2002: Visiting scholar at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Teaching

1   Neural Network, Fuzzy Control and Expert System

      This curriculum is a compulsory subject for graduate students in the field of automation. It targets at introducing basic theories and methodology of Neural Network, Fuzzy Control and Expert System. Topics, both theoretically and practically, cover fundamentals of fuzzy logic, fuzzy logic control system design, artificial neural networks such as BP, Hopfield, SOFM and fuzzy-neural networks. Principles of Expert Systems and programming based on CLIPS are also included.

 

2 Intelligent Control Systems

    This curriculum is a compulsory subject for graduate students in the field of automation. It targets at introducing basic theories and methodology of intelligent control systems.Topics cover fundamentals of intelligent control system architecture,  fuzzy logic and neural networks  control system , genetic algorithm, and  some machine learning algorithms.
