Dr. Bo Yang's research areas include industrial cyber physical systems, internet of vehicles and energy system. Particularly he is interested in applying optimization method, game theory and other decision making methods into the above areas. Currently, he conducts research on smart manufacturing, vehicular edge computation and energy management for energy internet. He has published over 140 technical papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

His research is mainly supported by NSFC, Ministry of Education in China,  and Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission etc.
