HE Jian-Ping
Jianping He (M'15) is currently an Associate Research Fellow in the Department of Automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was a research fellow in Communication Networks Lab (CNLAB) supervised by Prof. Lin Cai since Dec., 2013. He received a Ph.D. degree in Control Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University, China, in 2013, under the supervision of Prof. Jiming Chen and Prof. Youxian Sun. He is a member of Networked Sensing and Control group (NeSC). His research interests include the control and optimization of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), the scheduling and optimization in VANETs, and the security and privacy of Distributed Networked Systems.  He served as an associate editor for a special issue on Consensus-based Applications in Networked Systems in the International Journal of Robust and Nonlinear Control in 2016.

Research
My research mainly focuses on distributed control and optimization in networked systems. My re-
search interests include the control and optimization of sensor networks and cyber-physical systems,
the scheduling and optimization in VANETs and social networks, and the investment decision in
financial market and electricity market.
